Sunan before Sleeping

By the mercy & permission of Allāh ﷻ, The Prophet ﷺ conveyed many matters to us through his Sunnah in even the most private & intricate affairs in our lives, as Abū Dharr رضي الله عنه said:

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ did not die except that (even if) a bird flapped it’s wings in the sky, he informed us about the knowledge.

A man told me that when I go to bed, I should recite ʾĀyah al-Kursī; (if I do), Allāh would appoint a protector over me and no devil would come near to me until morning.

The Prophet ﷺ replied:

He told you the truth, although he is a liar. That was Shayṭān.

*Note: Acts of worship done before sleeping that are mentioned in the Sunnah are not restricted to only these four Sunan, rather there are actually much more that could be done & these are only what I personally practice the most.

All praise is due to Allāh, may His peace & blessings be upon our final Prophet Muḥammad, his family, his companions, & all those who follow him in guidance.
